QHands down the best and most trustworthy car shop in the Triangle. The level of service they provide is unmatched. George is always extremely attentive, maintains excellent communication, and is very fair with pricing. What sets them apart is their honesty — they’ll give you their genuine opinion, even if it means they don’t make as much money. They’re focused on building long-term relationships with their customers, not just making a quick buck. They’ve certainly earned a customer for life in me.

Fantastic shop that I would trust with any classic car. I have a 1966 Mustang that I personally restored/modded over COVID. I only farmed out paint and the short block (high hp 347 with a Sniper 1 EFI).

The Sniper was always finicky, but recently the engine would barely run and there was oil in one bank of cylinders. I was sick to my stomach and frustrated over the probable damage so I looked for a shop to fix it.

I found Greg's online, and they were just a few minutes down the road. As soon as I saw their shop I knew this was a great place. Clean, organized, secure, and plenty of muscle cars from original Mustangs to probably $250k restomods. I worked with George, who knew what he was talking about and told me they deal with cars like this all the time.

Within 3 weeks they diagnosed a trashed engine, ordered a crate engine and new EFI (Blueprint 347 with Sniper 2), had it installed, and fixed a few other "quirks" from my work.

I don't feel like I was pushed in this direction. They were willing to tear apart my existing engine and send it out to a machine shop, but for the time and costs involved the crate engine made more sense for me.

I was shocked with how quick the whole process took. When he messaged me that the car was ready I asked him if they could fix a window regulator and sticky door handle while he still had it. That was done within 2 days!

I now have my car back and it is perfect! I can enjoy it again without all of the frustration of a finicky engine/EFI. He even had it detailed!

Pricing was fair. Probably not the cheapest, but I certainly didn't feel like I was paying too much. Quality of work was top notch. Communication and billing was done through a service similar to a new car dealer that made everything as simple as a text. They even have online billing and payments.

10/10 would recommend. I enjoy working on my old cars and take pride in doing things myself, but if you need to take your car to a shop this is the perfect place.
